Je reprends quelques données intéressantes concernant les recherches en soins infirmiers : During the first phase of the pandemic, and more specifically between January 1st and July 24th, 2020, nurses have published numerous articles. Indeed, we have identified 724 articles in nursing journals during this period spread across 180 journals, among which 103 published at least 2 articles and 17 journals published 10 or more articles. We were able to note that nurses from all regions have participated in the studies on Covid-19. However, some continents were more represented than others. With a total of 265 articles published, the American continent is the most prolific. More specifically, the United States published 249 papers over the period, and Canada published 12. Europe also contributed to this nursing research in relation to Covid-19, with 242 articles published. The United Kingdom alone published 201 articles, and Denmark published 16. 121 articles were published in Asia, 100 of which were from China. Authors from Oceania contributed to this research by publishing 43 articles, 34 of which were published by Australian nurses. Finally, Africa published 5 articles, 2 of which were by South Africa. Furthermore, there were different types of publications: 67% of articles were expert opinions, and the rest were research papers.
Dans le même numéro, un autre éditorial : Will Nurses’ Work Still be Valued after the COVID-19 Pandemic?
