Attention, attention, les emails des revues prédatrices augmentent et certains d'entre nous se font prendre. Nous l'avons déjà évoqué mardi 2 février 2016. Je remercie Renaud Bouvet qui m'a transmis l'email ci-dessous reçu avant Noël. Il est bien flatteur pour vous prendre votre argent. Le groupe MedCrave, adresse aux USA en Oklahoma, mais sous groupe de Omics, Hyderabad, Inde, est listé comme prédateur. Les revues du groupe ont 21 tarifs selon le manuscrit soumis (et accepté dans 100 % des cas). L'email, signé par une inconnue, a un comité de rédaction étoffé (je devrais dire bidon) au sein duquel il y a un collègue français : Marc Deveaux, Forensic Toxicologist, France. Ni la ville ni son adresse ne sont précisés, et sa photo n'est pas publiée. Je remercie Marc Deveaux qui est bien biologiste, spécialisé en toxicologie (parfois des noms sont inventés par ces revues), et qui m'a confirmé ne pas être au courant et n'avoir aucun contact avec cette revue. A-t-il par mégarde coché une case un jour ? En tout cas, même s'il en fait la demande, son nom devrait rester, et continuer à tromper des collègues. (note ajoutée le 29 août 2018 : Marc Deveaux n'est plus listé sur ce comité).
